Sidra Smith is a creative, seasoned, and well-accomplished
professional who brings more than 15 years of entertainment
experience.
For many years, Sidra has
produced a wide range of projects such as independent films, reality
shows, talk shows, Hip Hop documentaries, a Pan African talk show in
West Africa and a series of corporately funded documentaries. She has
also worked in the area of corporate advertising, producing print
campaigns and commercials for a variety of US and International
clients that include American Express, Delta Airlines, IBM and
Gateway. Sidra has also worked with companies such as ABC, CBS,
Universal Studios, Fox, UPN and Ogilvy & Mather.
Sidra has an exceptional
ability to provide multidimensional creative influence and her
passionate ability to bring the best people together to do great work
has made her a well known-public figure.
Alan Spero, Head of
Production

Alan is our Marketing and Production executive who specializes in the
strategic branding and promotion of Film, TV and new entertainment
services, as well as the development and production of original
content for traditional and new media. He has been a key player in
this capacity for the launch of Comedy Central, Sci-Fi Channel, PBS
Kids Sprout and TiVo, as well as the major re-branding of FOX, TBS and
TV Guide Channel.
Recently, Alan served as
Executive Producer for Electronic Arts’ first foray into television
production, creating and branding a broadband network of “E! meets
ESPN”-styled original programming based on new game releases; it
premiered in September 2007 to rave reviews and increased game sales.
Previously, Alan served as
Show Runner and Head Writer for “Man Made Movie” on TBS, and as
Executive Producer and Head Writer for TV Guide Channel’s top rated
comedy show “Best of Late Night TV”.
Marilyn A. Hopkins, Director of Special Projects & Events

Marilyn Hopkins is a successful Event Manager, Special Projects
Consultant and Producer. Her extensive 15+ year background includes developing
and producing film festivals, conferences, comedy & musical concerts,
fashion shows including promotional projects/campaigns for Heal the
World Foundation, IFP-NY, HBO, BET, A&E, Independent Film Channel,
American Express, and Columbia University.
She has also worked on
nationally televised award shows, indie films and documentaries, plus
developed original content for the web.
Marilyn has built a
stellar reputation as a diligent Producer and effective strategist and
communicator. Her passion lies in discovering, developing and
presenting fresh ideas to the market; generating bankable concepts and
campaigns from ideas to fruition.
Dave Philip Boampong,
Producer/Europe -Africa

Dave Boampong is a brilliant Producer, Director and Editor. There
isn’t anything in the area of production, he can not do.
He is the Chief Executive
of Jade Productions in Ghana, West Africa and the Producer of Time
with David, an interview program about African issues from a global
perspective.
Dave Boampong is a very
motivated and experienced Ghanaian Producer/Director with exceptional
leadership skills able to motivate others and bringing projects in on
budget, that always look better than the budget would allow for.
He is a high energy
television professional with exceptional interpersonal and
communication skills. For many years, he has provided government and
business leaders with high quality Corporate Videos and Advocacy
Documentaries to sell their ideas to the Public across Africa.
Sam Jean, Director of
Business Affairs

Samuel Jean, a widely recognized name in the music industry, is an
accomplished professional who has served high profile clients in the
music business for over a decade. Sam’s vast experience and
determination has connected him to top level players in music, sports,
law, marketing, promotions, business affairs and A&R.
After graduating from
Boston University School of Law, Sam began his career as a business
manager and agent at the Neil S. Schwartz Associates business
management and sports agency firm. There he was responsible for
negotiating player agreements and protecting the financial and legal
interests of a number of music clients such as The Fugees.
In 1998, Sam decided that
his true love was indeed music. He went to work for Refugee Camp
Entertainment (RCE), serving first as its General Manager and later as
President. While at RCE he oversaw the negotiation of artist recording
and production agreements, managed multi-million dollar world tours,
and negotiated movie production, merchandising and advertising
agreements.
In January 2000 Sam was
tapped to head the newly formed joint-venture label between J Records
and Wyclef Jean’s, Clef Records. Sam held the post as President of
Clef Records for five consecutive years.
